A.1. Proj-inform: The main objectives of the project
are: (1) design of aerial two channels system for remote
control over the chemical pollution and radioactive
contamination, (2) investigation methods for effective
unification of chemical and radioactive monitoring,
(3) design and improve passive technique for chemical
and radioactive soil detection.
A-2. Channel for radioactive control consists of c-spectroanalyzer based on NaI(Tl) detector, which determines energy
of characteristic g
- lines in the range of 100 KeV- 3000 KeV, acceptance
angle 500…1200
Channel for chemical control consists of radiometer,
based on infrared open pass Fourer spectrometer with
cooled detector. It determines spectrum of absorption
of gas admixtures in atmosphere. It works in the wavelengths
ranges of atmosphere transparencies: (2…5) mkm, (7…13)
mkm.
Airborne system consists of multiprocessors complex
of original data processing and navigation.
Novel aspects of proposed system are : 1) two channels
passive radioactive contaminant and chemical pollution
detection, 2) effective computer data processing.
A.3. The "end product" of the project is experimental
prototype of Aerial system for remote control over the
chemical pollution and radioactive contamination.
A.4. Benefits that the project will bring are: 1)
Ukraine will get opportunity to discover places of bureinq
of radioactive and chemical substances at the same time,
particularly in Chernobyl zone, 2) two channels methods
will give opportunity to find out interference of chemical
and radioactive pollutions, 3) passive methods of detector
will ensure possibility to inspect border regions.
